The way we are using this blog is as follows:
- Rachel and Jessica are administrators for the blog.
- Phil, Tess, Greg, Andrew, and Jean are all accepted contributors. Others are being added over time.
- All of the above are able to start subjects for discussion. With a preliminary blog post, further discussion is expected to be conducted via the Comments section for that post. If another topic arises, another blog post should be generated for its discussion.
- Any links to information will be copied to the Links bar by either Jessica or Rachel, as apparently only admins have this access.
- Tags should be used as much as possible for blog posts so that we may search in the tag cloud provided for posts on a given subject.
- Archives are on a monthly basis, automatically by Blogger. This is adaptable as needed.
We are still hoping to meet online (as many of us are available) on a weekly basis, probably on Monday evenings. However all discussions will be cataloged here, and any smaller group conversations can be logged for relevance as well.
This is a wonderful opportunity we have created for ourselves. Let's do it well--and have fun with it!
